I read several descriptions in the net, but somehow there has been confusion on understanding distinctions of a 4GL.
Well, i think, some examples of 4GL are Progress %26amp; Informix, which have their own DB platforms. Can u say it's one of the major distinctions?
How do u categorize Visual C++ and Visual Basic. 4GL or 3GL?
How would you know whether a PL is 4GL or not?
Well Vicual C++ really isnt a 4gl
