IT skills classification ?

I have my CV to update, and I wonder how to classify these skills :

⁍ Advanced: Java (J2SE, J2EE), Shell Script, Perl, UML, Mozilla Framework, CSS, Ajax, HTML, JavaScript, C, Apache, tinyERP.

⁍ Basic: Plone, Zope, SQL, ASP.NET, PHP, Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic for Applications, Matlab, Merise, Design Patterns.

⁍ Advanced : NetBeans, Eclipse

⁍ Vim, Matlab, Microsoft Access, Macromedia Dreamweaver.

⁍ Linux (Mandrake 10.1, Mandriva 2006, Kubuntu 7.10 – intermediate).

⁍ Microsoft Windows (MS Windows 3.1/95/98/2000/XP, MS-Dos – advanced)).

IT skills classification ?
Break it up into categories

Operating Systems

Computer Languages

Application Software

Databases

edit

You could combine operating systems along with web software to cover your apache question

Not sure what tinyERP is so cannot comment as to what category.

I just suggest you make the categories as narrow or broad as necessary to make your resume look good. Remember, nobody is going to look at your resume and comment on your categories. Just don't make more than 3-4 categories.

The actual job experience is where most of the resume attention (I assume that CV is a UK term for resume) will be.
