I know i am behind the times...what is .net and do i need to relearn programming?

Visual C/C++ is nearly wiped out by these new programming languages (C#, vb.net) so i recommend learning on the site above. it has a lot of tutorials..
Reply:.net is a framework by microsoft that has a lot of precoded libraries. If you know java, then going to c# is a breeze. It's syntax is really simlar.





A lot of software for windows will be coded using the .net framework.





visual c/c++ still exists. At least in my version of VS2005
