About slow pc?

i've 2.53GH intel celeron processor and D845 motherboard and 512 MB or RAM except my pc is too slow. I've just installed visual sutdio .Net, SQL Server, Visual C++. but i'm just using Visual C++.


plesae tell me that what is the reason of working slow. if i haven't these software my pc also working in slow speed.

From the System Tools section, run DISK CLEANUP. After that is done, run Defrag.





Also, try running MSCONFIG from RUN and turn off most of your startup programs (except your anti-virus)





Keep your own Anti-virus up to date, and check the status regularly.





Get and update several Anti-spyware solutions. I use AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search %26amp; Destroy. I use the free versions from http://www.download.com Update and run these regularly. Especially IMMEDIATELY after an upexpected pop-up.





Download and install FireFox free from http://www.mozilla.com This is a browser that is safer to use than IE. Use this for general surfing and google searching. Only use IE when you MUST have IE, such as Windows Updates.





If you have Windows XP with SP2, activate the Windows firewall and check the status. If you don't, get Zone Alarm the free version from http://www.zonelabs.com

4. Go into add/remove and remove any programs you no longer us.





5. Once done click applly, okay, yes to restart, Once computer restart, check the small white box, click okay and your good to go.
Reply:change ur motherboard..i thnk intel 945 is a gr8 ..!!coz intel 945 hav 800 fsb so its really fast;)
Reply:You don't have anywhere near enough memory for the software you're running. Expect to see a marked improvement by placing another 512 of ram under the hood.
